[edit] Legal / Solidarity
- DC Books to Prisons Project - Provides a critical link between citizens who are incarcerated and those outside prison walls by sending donated reading material to prisoners and educating the public about issues surrounding prisoner education and literacy.
- D.C. Justice and Solidarity Collective - We are a tightly knit group of activists, legal workers, and lawyers with radical political ideologies. We combine our resources with those of the existing progressive legal community to: act as a clearinghouse of information, provide or arrange for relevant and/or requested trainings, and support the empowerment of activists planning actions in D.C., arrested individuals, and community members, and whatever else moves us.
